Buttery Baked Potatoes

This recipe may take a long time to cook but don't stress, minimal effort is needed! Just set a timer, grab a chair, and get some work done while this mouth-watering baked potato cooks in the oven. Follow the 5 simple steps below and you will have a filling meal with only a few dishes to wash!

Ingredients

russet potatoes

extra virgin olive oil

kosher salt

butter

optional toppings: sour cream, bacon bits, chives, cheddar cheese










Instructions

Step 1: Begin by Preheating the oven to 425°F and lining two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Step 2: Wash the potatoes and then use a fork to poke holes throughout them. Rub olive oil all over the potatoes and add some salt before placing them on the baking sheet.

Step 3: Bake the potatoes in the oven for 45-60 minutes or until the potato is tender and the skin is crisp.

Step 4: Slice open the potatoes and add butter to liking.

Step 5: Serve with toppings of your choice. Enjoy!
