Spicy Sriracha Noodles

Ingredients

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 tablespoons sriracha

2 large eggs

4 oz. lo. mein noodles (alt: ramen, linguine)

2 tablespoons butter

¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper

fresh cilantro

1 green onion



Instructions

Step 1: Begin by boiling water in a medium sized pot. While waiting, in a small bowl mix together brown sugar, soy sauce, and sriracha. Set the sauce to the side. Crack the eggs into a separate small bowl and whisk with a fork. Step 2: Once the water is boiling, add the noodles and boil until tender. When done, drain the noodles with a colander.

Step 3: Heat butter in a medium sized skillet over medium heat. Once melted, add the whisked eggs and crushed red pepper. Cook the eggs for 5 minutes or until the whites are no longer runny and transparent.

Step 4: Add the noodles and sauce to the skillet with the cooked eggs. Toss the noodles to evenly spread the sauce. Top the noodles with sliced cilantro and green onions.

Step 5: Enjoy!
