Crispy Hash Brown Waffles

Ingredients

30 oz. frozen shredded hash browns

cooking spray

4 tablespoons butter

kosher salt

freshly ground black pepper

¾ cup cheddar cheese (shredded)

¾ cup ham (chopped)






Instructions

Step 1: Begin by thawing the frozen hash browns. Heat a waffle iron on medium (or the regular setting) and spray both sides with cooking spray.

Step 2: Squeeze out excess moisture in the hash browns by using paper towels and then pour them into a bowl. Melt butter until it is completely liquid and then add it to the bowl of hash browns. Mix in salt and pepper.

Step 3: Shred the cheddar cheese. Dice the ham into small pieces.

Step 4: Add about a ½ cup of the hash browns into each section of the waffle iron. Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of the shredded cheddar cheese and ham on top. Lastly, add about a ¼ cup of the hash browns on top. Cook for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 5: Repeat until all hash browns are cooked. Enjoy!
