Ingredients

½ cup balsamic vinegar

2 tablespoons brown sugar

4 mini naan breads

2 roma tomatoes (sliced)

4 oz. mozzarella (shredded)

4 fresh basil leaves (sliced)

kosher salt

ground black pepper

Instructions

Step 1: Begin by heating the oven to 400ºF. Mix together balsamic vinegar and brown sugar in a small sauce pot. Place over medium heat and stir until the brown sugar is dissolved and the vinegar is simmering.

Step 2: Once simmering, lower the heat to medium-low and let it simmer for another 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens. Stir occasionally. Turn heat off and set aside.

Step 3: Place the mini naan breads on a baking sheet with parchment paper (aluminum foil works as well but make sure to use cooking oil!). Bake the naan bread in the oven for 5 minutes. While waiting slice the tomatoes.

Step 4: After 5 minutes pass, place about a ¼ of the shredded mozzarella and a couple slices of tomato on each naan bread slice. Put the naan bread back into the oven for 7 minutes or until the cheese is melted. While waiting slice the basil into thin pieces.

Step 5: Top each slice with fresh basil, salt, black pepper, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Enjoy!
